What to Screenshot Before You Buy (10 Seconds, Saves Arguments)
The cheapest insurance available on any online purchase, and almost nobody does it.
Capture these four
- The refund terms as displayed at the moment you pay
- The price and what is included, on the order page itself
- Any bonus or guarantee being offered
- The confirmation screen, with the order reference
Why it works
Launch pages change. Bonuses get withdrawn, terms get edited, guarantee wording gets softened. The version you agreed to is the one that was on your screen, and a timestamped screenshot is the whole of that argument.
It has never taken anyone more than ten seconds, and it converts a possible dispute into a closed one.
