Free is not the same as costless
The workshops before this launch carry no price. They do carry a cost, and naming it accurately is more useful than pretending either that it is nothing or that it is sinister.
What you actually hand over
- An email address, which goes onto a list.
- A sequence of messages for the duration of the launch.
- An evening, or several, if you attend live.
- Some attention afterwards, because material that lands stays with you and shapes what you decide next.
The last item is the one nobody lists and it is the largest. A persuasive session works on you after it ends, which is the whole point of running one, and being aware of that is different from being suspicious of it.
What you get back
Instruction. Not a preview reel, not a ninety-minute origin story - the mechanism explained by the person who built the programme around it, with questions taken from the room.
Whether that is worth an evening depends entirely on whether the subject is one you would act on. For someone genuinely weighing this purchase it is the highest-value free item available; for someone with no intention of doing anything, it is an evening.
The dates

The honest framing of why they exist
They sell the programme. That is the arrangement and it is disclosed rather than hidden - a seller demonstrates a method to a room, some of that room decides they want the full thing, and everyone else keeps whatever they learned.
An arrangement being commercial does not make it a poor deal. It makes it a deal, and a deal can be assessed on its terms rather than on whether money is mentioned.
Who should not bother
Anyone with no intention of acting on any of it. A workshop attended out of curiosity by somebody who will not change anything is genuinely just an evening, and there is no hidden benefit that makes it otherwise.
That is a small group and it is worth naming, because most pages about free training imply everyone should attend everything. Most people weighing this purchase should attend; someone browsing should not pretend an evening costs nothing.
How to protect your evening
- Attend with a question. It converts watching into research.
- Decide your budget before the cart opens, not during the session, when you are at your most persuaded.
- Take one thing away that you would use regardless of whether you buy.
Do those three and the evening pays for itself whichever way you decide, which is the only version of this where you cannot lose.
