Attending properly, so the evening pays either way
Most people attend passively and leave with an impression. A small amount of preparation turns the same evening into something you keep regardless of what you decide about buying.
Before it starts
- Write down one problem you are actually stuck on. Not a general interest - a specific obstacle. It gives the session something to be measured against.
- Decide your budget position in advance. Whether you could buy, and at what. Deciding this while persuaded is how people commit to things they later unwind.
- Have somewhere to write. Obvious and routinely skipped.
During
Capture mechanisms rather than statements. "Comment triggers a message" is a mechanism you can act on; "this changed my life" is a statement you cannot.
Note the parts you disagree with too. Those are usually where your own situation differs from the one being described, and that difference is the most useful thing you will learn about whether the method fits you.
The question worth asking
If questions are taken, ask the specific one you wrote down. Not "does this work for beginners" - the actual obstacle, in detail.
Specific questions get specific answers and vague ones get reassurance. It is also the fastest way to find out whether the teaching holds up when it meets a real case rather than a prepared example.
Afterwards, within an hour
- Write the one thing you would do differently starting tomorrow.
- Write what would have to be true for the purchase to make sense for you.
- Do the first thing. Even a small version. Acting on one item is what separates an evening spent from an evening invested.
The note worth making about yourself
How you felt at the end, written down before sleeping. Persuasion fades overnight and enthusiasm recorded at the moment is useful data about how strongly a session worked on you.
Reading it two days later, before the cart closes, tells you whether the conviction survived contact with an ordinary Tuesday. That is a better basis for a decision at this price than either the feeling or its absence alone.
What to ignore
Earnings figures, individual results, and the countdown. None of the three tells you anything about whether the method suits your situation, and all three are designed to compress the decision.
The material is the thing to judge. Everything around it is packaging, and packaging is the same on good products and bad ones.
The test at the end
Are you able to do something you could not do before. If yes, the evening returned value whether or not you ever buy anything - and that is the only definition of a free session being worth attending.
