Where AI helps here, and where it does not
AI is part of what the training covers and it is worth being precise about which parts it improves. Used in the right places it removes hours; used in the wrong ones it produces content that gets ignored.
Where it genuinely helps
- Getting past the blank page. A rough first draft to react to is easier than starting from nothing, and reacting is faster than composing.
- Volume of variations. Twenty openings for one idea, of which two are usable.
- Research compression. Summarising what is already known so you can find the gap.
- Repurposing. One long idea into several short ones, which is mechanical work.
Where it makes results worse
- The opinion. The reason someone follows you is that you think something. A generated view is nobody's view and audiences detect it quickly.
- The specifics. What you tested, what happened, what surprised you. These cannot be generated because they did not happen to a model.
- The conversation. Replying to real people with generated text is the fastest way to lose a warm contact.
The rule that keeps it useful
Use it for the parts that are labour and not for the parts that are judgement. Drafting, varying, repurposing, formatting - labour. Deciding what is true, what matters and what you recommend - judgement.
Content that is entirely the first category reads exactly like what it is, and there is now a great deal of it competing for the same attention.
The mistake this creates at scale
Publishing more, faster, with nothing specific to say. Volume stopped being an advantage the moment production became cheap for everyone, and the scarce thing now is having a genuine view about one narrow subject.
Which is unexpectedly good news for an individual: the bar moved rather than rose. It is harder to win by publishing more and easier to win by being genuinely useful about one thing.
How to tell if you have crossed the line
Read a piece back and ask whether anyone else with the same tools could have produced exactly it. If the answer is yes, nothing in it is yours, and there is now a great deal of that competing for the same attention.
The fix is usually one paragraph: what you would do, what you noticed, what you would avoid. That single addition is what makes the rest worth reading.
The place it saves the most time
Repurposing. One idea properly worked out becomes a short video, a written post and a message reply, and turning it into those three formats is mechanical rather than creative.
That is where hours actually disappear in this business, and it is the part a tool handles without costing you anything that mattered.
What the training covers
The production workflow - using these tools to make the volume of content the method requires survivable, without the output becoming interchangeable with everyone else's.
