Before You Buy

What the method actually is

Stripped of the marketing, it is four steps that connect content to income. Worth understanding before buying, because it tells you what you would be doing every day rather than what you would be receiving.

The four steps

  1. Publish short content on one subject. Video, mostly, on the platforms where attention currently is. Narrow subject, consistently.
  2. Invite a specific action. Ask people to comment one particular word to receive something genuinely useful.
  3. Move the conversation to messages. Everyone who comments gets a direct message with the thing they asked for, automatically.
  4. Recommend from inside the conversation. Where it fits, and only where it fits.

Why this shape rather than a link

Because the platforms suppress content that sends people away, and because a comment is a smaller ask than a click. The mechanism works with the platform's incentives instead of against them, which is why it survives changes that break other tactics.

It also concentrates the selling into a conversation, which converts at rates a page never approaches - the person asked, they are being answered individually, and nobody had to leave the app.

What a working day looks like

Making a piece of content, answering messages from yesterday's, and occasionally adjusting what you are recommending. Most of it is production and conversation rather than anything technical.

Being clear about that matters, because people imagine this business as either passive or highly technical and it is neither. It is closer to running a small shop that happens to be made of posts.

Why the mechanic is harder to copy than it looks

The steps are public and anyone can run them. What is not copyable is having something worth commenting for, which is a content problem rather than a mechanism problem.

That is why the same four steps produce wildly different results for different people, and why the training spends most of its attention on the content half rather than on the automation.

The two places people implement it wrongly

Automating the whole conversation. The automation should deliver what was promised and ask one question. Continuing to automate past that point loses exactly the thing that made the mechanism work.

Promoting something that pays too little. Identical effort against a $15 commission and a $500 one produces completely different outcomes, and this decision is made early and often badly.

What makes the difference between people who make it work

Narrowness, almost always. An account about one specific thing gets understood by the platform faster, attracts a more relevant audience, and makes the recommendation obvious when it comes.

The instinct is to keep the subject broad so as not to exclude anyone. It is the single most common early mistake and it slows everything that follows.

What it requires from you

Consistency for months rather than intensity for weeks, and a willingness to talk to strangers in writing. Neither is a skill exactly, and both are the actual requirements.
