Which Mark Ling course is current

Commission Cycle, September 2026. If you have been reading reviews and they seem to describe different things, that is because they do - the programme changes name and contents every year.

The sequence

Profit Engine, Profit Genesis, Profit Helix, Profit Shortcuts, Commission Cycle. Same seller, different programmes, built around what was working in the year each launched.

Which means a review from 2024 is not a review of what is on sale now. It may still tell you something useful about how this seller operates - and that record is worth something - but it is not describing the current contents.

Why it changes every year

Because the tactics do. The methods that worked before short-form video dominated are not the methods that work now, and a programme rebuilt annually is one that has not been left to age.

The alternative model - one evergreen course sold indefinitely - has the opposite problem. It is available whenever you want it, and it is describing a version of the internet that has moved on.

What carries across all of them

• The seller. Mark Ling founded Affilorama over twenty years ago and has run a September launch every year since 2022, which is unusual in a category where most sellers appear once.
• The structure. Free live workshops, then a paid programme open for a fixed window.
• Published pricing and a written closing date. Both checkable in advance.

What is different this year

Commission Cycle is built around a comment-to-conversation mechanic on short-form platforms, which is where the attention currently is. That is the substantive change from the earlier programmes rather than a rename.

Why the annual rebuild is worth something to a buyer

A programme rewritten each year is one where somebody had to decide what still works and what does not. An evergreen course has never had to make that decision, which is why so many of them teach methods that were current when they were recorded.

The trade-off is that it is only available for a fortnight. That is the cost of the thing being current, and it is a reasonable trade.

Reading the sequence as evidence

Five launches in five consecutive Septembers is itself information. Sellers who take money and vanish do not come back and do it again the following year under the same name, in public, to an audience that remembers the last one.

Repetition in this market is a costly signal, which makes it a more reliable one than anything a sales page can assert about itself.

The practical advice

Ignore anything written before this year when judging the contents, and use the older material only to judge the seller. On that second question the record is long and public, which is the more useful thing to know anyway.
