The free report, assessed
A free download in exchange for an email address is the oldest trade online, and the fair question is what you get and what it costs. Both have short answers.
What it costs
Your email address, and the launch sequence that follows it. That is the entire price and it should be stated plainly rather than glossed.
You will receive messages during the launch window. That is what the address is for, it is disclosed, and it stops when the launch does or when you unsubscribe.
What it contains
An explanation of the approach the programme teaches - the mechanism, why it works now, and the shape of the business built on it.
It is genuine explanation rather than a pitch with a cover page, and it is also not the paid programme in miniature. Think of it as the argument for the method rather than the instructions for executing it.
Is it worth the address
If you are considering the purchase, yes - and less for the document than for what receiving it does. Being on the list is how you hear about the live sessions, which are the genuinely valuable free component.
If you are not considering it at all, the report will not change your mind and you can skip it without missing anything.
The better free thing
The live workshops. A report is words on a page; a session is the method being taught, with questions answered, by the person who built it.
If you only do one free thing before deciding, do that one. The report is the doorway to it rather than the main event.
Protecting your inbox
- Use an address you actually read, since the session reminders go there.
- Expect a sequence during the launch and nothing unusual afterwards.
- Unsubscribe if it stops being useful - the link is in every message and using it costs you nothing.
What the report is really for, from the seller's side
Getting you onto the list before the sessions run, so you hear about them. That is not a criticism - it is the mechanism working exactly as described, and it happens to be in your interest too.
Knowing that changes how you read it. It is the opening of a sequence rather than a standalone document, and the sequence leads somewhere genuinely worth going.
What to do with it once you have it
Read it, then judge the method rather than the writing. The question worth asking is whether you can see yourself doing the thing it describes every day for six months, because that is the actual decision underneath the purchase.
