What you receive, and whether anything downloads

It is a hosted member area rather than a file. Nothing arrives as a download, and understanding why explains what the "free download" listings you may have seen actually are.

The format

Training delivered inside a member area you log into, plus live sessions during the launch window. Some resources - templates, worksheets, swipe material - are downloadable individually from inside it, but the programme itself is not a package that lands on your machine.

This is standard for launch products and it is deliberate: it keeps the material current, and updates reach everyone rather than only whoever downloaded the newest version.

What the "free download" listings are

They are not the programme. Broadly they fall into three categories, and none of them is a shortcut worth taking.

• Pages that collect an email and deliver nothing.
• Outdated material from a previous year's product. Mark Ling has run a different programme each September - Profit Engine, Profit Genesis, Commission Cycle - so a file labelled with one name is frequently a different product entirely, and an old one.
• Files you should not open. The category speaks for itself.

Why the pirated version is worth less than nothing

Even if a complete copy existed, it would be the part of the programme with the least value. The material is the commodity half; the live sessions, the running order and the intake around you are what make people finish it.

A folder of videos is exactly the thing most people already have several of and have not watched. Paying nothing for another one is not a saving.

What genuinely is free

The workshops that run before the cart opens. Real teaching, no payment, no card details, and they are the honest answer to "can I see something before I commit".

Anyone wanting to evaluate this without spending should start there rather than hunting for a file. It is better material, it is current, and it is legal.

What downloading an old copy actually gets you

A previous year's product, missing the sessions, missing the current method, and missing the intake. The three things that make a launch work are precisely the three things a file cannot contain.

It also tends to be the wrong programme entirely. The names change annually, and a file labelled with one of them is usually a repackaged earlier release from a different year.

If cost is the obstacle
