Before You Buy

The refund position, stated accurately

The refund terms appear on the checkout page at the moment of purchase. This page does not quote a number of days, because the terms are not published in advance and a guessed figure would be worse than saying so.

Why they are not published before the cart opens

Because that is how launch products work almost universally. The terms are part of the purchase agreement and they are presented at the point of agreement, which is legally and practically the normal arrangement.

It is not evasive and it is not a warning sign. What it does mean is that the payment screen is the only place you will see them, so that screen is where the thirty seconds of attention belongs.

The three things to confirm on that page

  1. The window. How long you have, counted from what - purchase date or access date. These differ and the difference matters.
  2. The conditions. Whether a refund requires anything of you, such as demonstrating you worked through the material. Conditional guarantees are common in this category and they are not unfair, but they are only fair if you read them.
  3. The route. Who you contact and how. An email address noted before you need it is worth more than one hunted for afterwards.

The thirty-second protection

Screenshot the refund wording before you pay. Not a note, not a memory - the actual text as it read on the day.

Terms can be updated between launches, and a screenshot is the difference between "I think it said thirty days" and having the wording you agreed to. This is the single highest-value habit for buying anything online and almost nobody does it.

What a refund guarantee is actually for

It removes the risk of the product being nothing like described. That is what it covers, and against that it is genuinely useful.

What it does not cover is changing your mind about doing the work, and treating a guarantee as a way to try something without committing to it tends to produce exactly the outcome it was meant to protect against. Buy it intending to use it; the guarantee is the backstop, not the plan.

What to do if the terms are not visible

Do not pay. A checkout that shows no terms at all is a different situation from one whose terms you dislike, and the correct response is to stop rather than to proceed and find out.

In practice this does not arise on the official cart, which is part of why confirming you are on it matters. It arises on lookalike pages, where the absence of terms is one of the clearest tells available.

If you need to claim

Do it inside the window, in writing, with the order number and the screenshot. Polite, specific, early. Refund requests made on the last day with no reference and no receipt are the ones that go slowly, and that is true of every seller.
